Last night (from my side of the world) the controversial 20 year old rapper XXXTentacion was the victim of a fatal alleged robbery in Deerfield Beach, Miami, Florida.
Below is the County Sheriff’s report.

There have been mixed reactions over the passing of X, with some even saying that he deserved to die due to his violent nature which saw him awaiting trial on more than a dozen felony charges and allegations of domestic violence against his then-pregnant girlfriend.
Still, no one deserves to die so early. I’m a firm believer in the power of words. What you put out into the world will come back to you. Some time ago X apparently predicted his own tragic death.
This got me fucked up. RIP X. Enormous talent and limitless potential and a strong desire to be a better person. God bless his family, friends and fans.

X was a colourful character (I’m not just talking about his hair) though I found his initial music disturbing I grew to like the evolution of this young man who I first got to know through the song Look At Me.
I do believe that X was really trying to better himself, having lined up a charity concert for this coming weekend. Being young is a great experience but at times we may not have the guidance that we need to keep us on the straight and narrow and hence we live a life of trial and error.

This kid was a genius . true artist. He made his own rules. He has his faults and we was willing to pay for his sins.. but he was young and he worked so hard on his own self . He wanted to be better. he loves everyone so much . He lived for every kid out here. He had the biggest imagination. He texted me this weekend it was one of his goals to get me & Skrillex to finish his next album. I Invited him to La this week. I was wondering if he was gonna come 💛 . He used every second of his life to create . He reppped Florida to his core.. I love this kid . He was gonna do so much more he promised me 💔
Aggression as I have come to realize is a result of a deep-seated mental issues and neglect stemming from childhood. We owe it to ourselves to be better adults when we interact with our children and other children even because what we do does have a lasting impact.
I saw a video of him lying lifeless in his car and I thought, is this what society has come to, taking every opportunity to “snap” even disturbing moments. This is also why I have issues with selfies and cameras at funerals. Allow us to mourn our dearly departed without some clout-chaser trying to live-stream everything. What happened to general decency?

The fate of XXXTentacion could have easily been mine as well, had certain life choices been made. For me it was a phase that passed and fortunately didn’t turn into a lifestyle. I understand that not everyone is or will be as fortunate as I was/am which is why I try by all means to spread positivity and not negativity. Changing the world can not and will not happen overnight but every little act of goodness will definitely play a role in the larger scheme of things.
Fuck. RIP XXXTentacion. His Music Was There For Me When I Was In A Dark Place. I'm At A Loss For Words
