This partnership, which is an initiative by the MTV Staying Alive Foundation, will go a long way in educating (especially the youth) about HIV and Aids, not only in Zimbabwe but beyond borders. The partnership also means that Gilmore Tee is the official Zimbabwean licensee for the TV and Radio Drama Series which will see him partnering with local outlets and networks in getting the HIV/AIDS awareness series showcased across the country and continent.
It is this partnership that has created another another partnership with Ster-Kinekor Zimbabwe to show double episodes of the series, starting with season 5 (named MTV Shuga: Down South) at the Bulawayo Centre and SK-105 Harare cinemas every Saturday.
