Being a pseudo-fitness person this person this year taught me the value of the oldest drink in the world and no it is NOT breast milk. Water ladies and gentlemen is my drink of the year.
It started in January when I joined the gym, for the second time, after an hiatus and the instructor told me about how I was not drinking (enough) water. For some reason fizzy drinks just don’t do it for me anymore, was this a sign?
Going down the worm hole that is Google I discovered that the amount of water your body needs is linked to your weight. The heavier you are the more water you need to drink. Well, growing up we were told that 70% of our bodies are water so it kind of makes sense, right?
Don’t feel ashamed about your daily intake of water. Be warned it may increase your visits to the loo, but trust me, it’s worth it. Exercise is still non-negotiable.
