Zimbabwean rappers, Taku (Currently Based In The UK) and AyTee (Currently Based In Cyprus) come together across boarders to bring you their latest offering African Queen. The Song has a Caribbean vibe to it with a message of endearment to the African Woman who in this case is highlighted as the “African Queen”. The rappers use a clever exchange of rap and melody to give the song a rugged yet delicate feel that will get you on your feet, enjoying the blend of coastal and African sound with your partner.
AyTee opens up the song with is, now, signature adlib “Ndati” (which is shona for ‘I said’) and continues to deliver a boastful yet sensitive verse about his “African Queen”. AyTee, who has been a fan of creative melodic pieces, provides the chorus of the song.
Taku takes over on Verse two and three, providing another perspective to the song. In the second verse he highlights how his “African Queen” gives him a euphoric feeling and how he is willing to devote himself to her.
