This may be good news for Yeezy fans as Kanye West’s Yeezy Powerphase Calabasas sneakers are finally getting re-released.
After a surprise drop via West’s Yeezy Supply in March, the Calabasas x Adidas Yeezy Powerphase kicks are set for a wider re-release on June 4 with a retail price of US$120. This is a modest amount, considering that previous Yeezys floor price is above US$200. When they were released in March they were so scarce that the resale value was in the upward value of US$1,000.
The announcement was made by the Yeezy Mafia Twitter account.

The retro-looking sneakers are an update of the ’80s Adidas Powerphase sneakers.
What sets this style apart from the other Powerphase is the gold foil Calabasas branding — which is Kanye’s apparel collection with Adidas — on the side of the shoe.
These Yeezys have not been without their fair share of controversy, with some people claiming that these are just a rip-off of the Reebok Ex-O-Fit Lo. Well, Adidas OWNS Reebok so how can they rip themselves off? The similarities are there though, I won’t deny that.
Having been spotted on Kimmy K and Kylie Jenner‘s SnapChat these are sure to be sold out. Being a fan of retro kicks myself allow me to join the drool squad and hope someone gets me this as a Christmas present.
